Rep. Val Hoyle Does It Again; Working for Israel

Val Hoyle, my Oregon Representative in Congress, is supporting Israel again. She has co-sponsored a bill brought forth by AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, to impose tough new oil and natural gas market sanctions upon the Islamic Republic of Iran, an objective of President Donald Trump's foreign policy initiative threatening Iran with war or sanctions should it not give up its nuclear energy industry and its guided missile production. As AIPAC explains, the bill is pending in both the House and in the Senate.

One might reasonably suspect that Ms. Hoyle succumbed to a very large overdose of herd mentality rather than intentionally being a Zionist pawn. But if so, she needs to be far more careful.

In a repeat of his actions in 2019, Donald Trump has threatened Iran with war or new economic sanctions on Iran's oil and natural gas industries. Trump wants Iran to roll over, giving up both its missile-building and nuclear energy programs, which Iran will almost certainly never agree to. The AIPAC bill Hoyle is co-sponsoring would grant Trump authority to impose even more severe sanctions.

Close observers believe Trump has already set a war against Iran in motion.

For more than 20 years, Netanyahu has claimed
that Iran has ambitions to acquire nuclear weapons and thus poses a grave nuclear threat to the U.S. and NATO. But that claim is pure smoke, a lie; since 2007, it has been the consensus position of all U.S. intelligence agencies that Iran has no such program. European intelligence agencies and Israel's Mossad are in agreement. (See extensive links I have collected here.)

Bibi has been running that hoax to push the U.S. into war with Iran for decades, just as he used it to propel the U.S. into war against Iraq.

And just as we were lied to about Iraq having a nuclear weapons program and arming al Qaeda, thus justifying Iraq's invasion in 2003, Bibi has apparently talked Donald J. Trump into abandoning his goal to obtain a Nobel Peace Prize by invading Iran using the Nonexistent Iranian Nuclear Weapons Program Hoax as his justification.

Meanwhile, the war crime Israeli government continues its ethnic cleansing eradication of Palestinian human beings and prepares to annex the entire West Bank of Palestine despite an International Court of Justice ruling that its continued occupation of the West Bank (and Jerusalem) is illegal and requiring complete and immediate withdrawal of its military and settlers.

With Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthi armed resistance to Israel's dismaying misconduct being dependent on Iranian-supplied weapons and other resources, it's not hard to understand why Israel's ruling psychopath wants the U.S. to carve up Iran, modern-day Persia, a nation that has not invaded another country since the 1850s.

Yet here we are: presented with a bill co-sponsored by my elected representative in the U.S. Congress, siding with Israel to enhance President Trump's "Maximum Pressure" campaign against Iran, undoubtedly to be reflected in still more Palestinian slaughter.

Ms. Hoyle, you are supporting Israel's war against the internationally lawful Axis of Resistance, U.S. terrorist designations notwithstanding. (Residents of occupied lands like Palestine and Lebanon have a legal right of armed military resistance to occupation that is not overcome merely by designating them as terrorist organizations.)

If your intent was not to support Israel's oppression of the Palestinians, I suggest withdrawing your co-sponsorship from that bill ASAP. Then set up a filter in your pending co-sponsorship filing system that flags incoming AIPAC measures to your attention. Set your mind to caution against any incoming information about such AIPAC initiatives.

But for Heaven's sake, hire an adviser who truly understands what is really going on with Israel.

Update 1: Hoyle also recently signed on as a co-sponsor of H.R.768 - the Holocaust Education and Antisemitism Lessons Act, which looks to be the next step in the ever-widening Israel-firster effort to rule the American public with false charges of anti-semitism. See e.g., statement by former Israeli Minister Shulamit Aloni: "Anti-semitic; it's a trick we always use it."
